Minor Midget Canes Finalists in Whitby

The Horne Construction Minor Midget Hurricanes are the finalists of the Whitby A Thanksgiving Tournament . The Canes lost a heartbreaker 4-3 in overtime to the Orillia Terriers.
During round robin play the Canes beat the Barrie Colts 2-1, Whitby Wildcats 6-5 and the Woodstock Navy Vets 7-0 while dropping an 8-5 decision to the Orillia Terriers.
In the semi final game the Minor Midget Canes defeated the Caledon Hawks 5-2 earning a spot in the championship game.
Congratulations to all of the Minor Midget Canes players and staff for a great showing in a highly competitive tournament.
