Novice Canes Take Over Brock Ice
The Brock University men's hockey team hosted the "Badgers Care" Game this past Friday, versus the Laurier Golden Hawks with all proceeds going to Community Care of St. Catharines & Thorold. "Community Care is extremely grateful that the Brock Men's Hockey and Athletics has recognized and valued the work of the agency through this "Badgers Care" Game December 3," said Community Care CEO Betty-Lou Souter. 'Truly the Badgers do care and led by coach Murray Nystrom's strong leadership beyond the rink, our community is a better place. Go Badgers Go!".
However...the real game happened between periods.
Taking advantage of a great offer by the Brock Badgers to showcase their skills between periods, the Novice Canes stole the show. The Novice Canes stormed onto the ice displaying their ever developing skills to
1,453, in attendance, at the Seymour-Hannah Centre Friday night.
Great job Novice Canes!!
