As of 2016 Alliance Hockey has begun to remove Body Checking from the MD Division. Starting with the 2016-17 Season there will be no Body Checking at Minor Bantam MD. In the 2017-18 there will be no Body Checking at the Major Bantam level. By the 2019-20 Season there will be no Body Checking in any Division of MD Hockey.
The Alliance believes that there should be a level of Travel Hockey with no Body Checking as an option for its Members.
