Although our 11 month journey has come to end the memories of a great season will last forever. Our goals against were cut in half...Our goals for doubled..Our wins tripled. But the competitiveness of this team is the lasting memory. MD hockey may be a mystery to many in the Niagara Region but those who play it, and watch it, know the caliber is very high as you are playing that "City's" 2nd or 3rd team, in minor and major divisions.

After going 2 and out in the semi's the 03 Canes look for answers heading to Provincial Championships in just under 3 weeks. What went wrong and how do we fix it? The Canes have two and a half weeks to figure that out and be ready to play the best Tier 2 teams Alliance Hockey has to offer.
Credit has to be given to a very solid Waterloo Black team that had a game plan and stuck to it. The Wolves showed up hungry and looking to advance to the Tier 2 finals verse the Burlington Bulldogs (Red). Good luck to both Waterloo and Burlington in the Finals; We'll be waiting for you at the Alliance MD Championships!
